With no funding, no experience and absolutely no idea what she was doing, she co-founded The Happy Hood, a good news zine celebrating local stories, created by the community, for the community.Eight years later, it’s grown into a powerful creative project with 400+ volunteers, 27 issues and over 40 free events.
Her message is simple: you don’t need permission to start, you just need to start, and now she’s here to
