SISTALAND FESTIVAL 2026
Terms & Conditions

The purchase of a Ticket, Camping Pass, Glamping Accommodation, or attendance at SISTALAND Festival 2026 (the “Event”) constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

The Event is organised by SISTALAND Ltd (the “Organiser”) and will take place from Friday 10 July – Sunday 12 July 2026 at Chew Valley Lake, Somerset (the “Event Site”).

If purchasing on behalf of others, you are responsible for ensuring they receive and accept these Terms.

1. About SISTALAND

SISTALAND Festival is an inclusive creative industry festival for women and underrepresented creatives.

Our community includes:

  • Women (including trans women)

  • Non-binary and gender non-conforming people

  • Creatives from underrepresented backgrounds across race, ethnicity, class, disability, sexuality and lived experience

Some men (including trans men) may be present in professional capacities (crew, suppliers, venue staff, security).

Respect, inclusion and professional conduct are non-negotiable. Anyone acting in breach of these values may be removed without refund.

2. Age Policy

Thursday (from 6pm), Friday & Saturday (10–11 July 2026)

Strictly 18+.

Valid photo ID may be required.

Sunday (12 July 2026)

Open to individuals aged 16+ when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Guardians:

  • Must hold a valid Event Ticket.

  • Are responsible for the behaviour and safety of the minor at all times.

  • Must remain on site with them.

The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry if age requirements are not met.

3. Tickets & Access

An Event Ticket grants access to:

  • Talks, panels, keynote sessions

  • Included workshops (subject to booking)

  • Networking spaces

  • Evening programming

  • Community zones

  • On-site experiences

Tickets do not include:

  • Camping passes

  • Glamping

  • Parking

  • Paid third-party services

  • Travel or accommodation

Tickets are purchased for the overall festival experience. No specific speaker, session or element is guaranteed.

The Organiser reserves the right to amend programming, line-up, schedule or layout where necessary.

4. Session Booking & App Use

Some sessions require advance booking via the official Event App.

Spaces are limited and allocated:

  • First come, first served

  • Or via ballot (at Organiser discretion)

If a booked session is missed, refused entry (e.g. lateness, intoxication, failure to follow instructions), or voluntarily not attended, it may still count toward session allocation.

Disabled attendees may be offered priority booking access where appropriate.

5. Mental Health & Coaching Disclaimer

SISTALAND programming may include:

  • Coaching sessions

  • Reflective workshops

  • Emotional wellbeing discussions

  • Personal development exercises

These sessions are designed for inspiration, education and peer support.

They do not:

  • Replace medical advice

  • Replace therapy

  • Constitute psychological or psychiatric treatment

If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, you are encouraged to seek support from a qualified medical professional.

Attendees participate in wellbeing, coaching and reflective sessions at their own discretion and risk.

The Organiser is not liable for emotional distress arising from participation in programming.

6. Accessibility & Personal Assistants

We are committed to inclusion.

Attendees requiring essential support may apply for a free Personal Assistant (PA) Pass.

Conditions:

  • PA must be 18+

  • Must arrive and leave with attendee

  • Must assist during emergencies

  • May attend sessions alongside attendee (space permitting)

  • May book paid third-party activities but must pay their own fee

Priority session booking may be offered to disabled attendees.

7. Alcohol & Drugs Policy

SISTALAND operates a licensed bar.

Only alcohol purchased from official on-site vendors may be consumed on the Event Site.

External alcohol is prohibited and may be confiscated.

We operate a zero tolerance drugs policy.

Illegal substances will be reported to authorities.

The Organiser reserves the right to remove any attendee who is:

  • Intoxicated to unsafe levels

  • In possession of illegal substances

  • Acting in a way that compromises safety

8. Animals

No pets are permitted on site.

Exceptions:

  • Pre-authorised assistance dogs

All assistance dogs must be declared in advance.

9. Camping, Glamping & Vehicles

Separate passes required for:

  • Camping

  • Glamping

  • Parking

  • Camper vans

No sleeping in cars.

Quiet campsite policy applies after 11:30pm.

The Lead Hirer of glamping accommodation is responsible for:

  • The tent

  • Its contents

  • Any damage

Damage or missing items may incur repair/replacement charges and admin fees.

No:

  • Open flames

  • BBQs

  • Cooking stoves (unless built into certified camper vans)

  • Smoking inside tents

10. Prohibited Items

The following are prohibited:

  • Illegal substances

  • External alcohol

  • Weapons

  • Fireworks

  • Smoke bombs

  • Open flames

  • Goods intended for sale without written permission

  • Commercial filming equipment without consent

  • Unauthorised amplified sound systems

Bag checks may be conducted.

11. Recording & Intellectual Property

Talks, workshops and sessions may not be recorded, live streamed, or reproduced without written permission.

This includes:

  • Full session recordings

  • Commercial content capture

  • Redistribution of speaker content

Personal photography is permitted unless otherwise stated.

12. Conduct

The Organiser and security personnel reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee without refund if behaviour is deemed:

  • Unsafe

  • Harassing

  • Discriminatory

  • Abusive

  • Intoxicated to unsafe levels

  • Disruptive to programming

  • In breach of these Terms

This includes:

  • Hate speech

  • Bullying

  • Aggression

  • Refusal to follow staff instructions

13. Security & Personal Property

Attendees are responsible for their own belongings.

The Organiser accepts no liability for:

  • Loss

  • Theft

  • Damage

14. Film & Photography

By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional use.

Commercial filming requires written permission.

15. Refunds & Transfers

Tickets, camping and glamping are non-refundable.

Name transfers are permitted until [8th July 2026].

Tickets:

  • Must match valid photo ID

  • May only be transferred once

  • May only be resold at face value

16. Event Changes & Force Majeure

The Organiser reserves the right to:

  • Amend schedule

  • Change speakers

  • Adjust site layout

  • Relocate within reasonable distance if required

If cancelled due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (extreme weather, government action, safety concerns), tickets will not be refunded unless required by law.

17. Leave No Trace

Attendees must respect the land and remove all waste.

Failure to comply may impact future attendance.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.

If one clause is invalid, the remainder remain enforceable.
