We’re building the first festival of its kind, designed by and for women and underrepresented filmmakers and creatives.
Our mission is to flip the power dynamic, open doors that were never meant for us, and create a space where real opportunities thrive and transformative connections happen.
THE VISION
We see a future where diverse creatives lead the industry, powered by an annual festival that’s part rally, part playground, part game-changer. The only event they’ll need all year, and the spark that keeps them burning bright until the next one.
THE CREATIVE INDUSTRY IS STILL STUCK IN THE PAST
Gatekeepers hold the power. Diversity is too often a buzzword, not a reality. And underrepresented voices - especially women, non-binary, and trans creatives, are still fighting for scraps.
Add to that the heavy toll of the pandemic and industry strikes. Productions stalled. Jobs vanished. Uncertainty skyrocketed. Creatives have been left picking up the pieces, often alone.

We’re heading into our third year with over 700+ active members who are hungry for something different, a creative space built on radical inclusivity, authentic connection, and real opportunities to grow.
Now is the time to rally.
To build each other up so that when the industry bounces back - and it will, we’re all in the strongest place possible, creatively and mentally. We’re looking for visionary sponsors and collaborators who share our values, our goals, and our big, bold dreams - to help guide and elevate SISTALAND to its fullest potential.

FESTIVAL 2.0 COMING SOON
In 2025, we piloted SISTALAND to test a different way of “networking” - one rooted in care, honesty and community rather than hierarchy or hustle. The response confirmed what we already felt: this space matters.
Now, we’re building what comes next.
2026 is not rushed. It’s being shaped carefully, collaboratively, and with everything we learned from the pilot. We’re returning bigger and stronger, while staying true to the values that made SISTALAND what it is.

We’re a fiercely passionate collective of women, non-binary and trans creatives on a mission to reshape the creative industry from the ground up.
We exist to disrupt outdated systems, break down barriers, and build an inclusive space where underrepresented voices don’t just participate - they lead and thrive.
Now heading into our third year, with a newly launched membership and app, already 700+ strong, we’re proving there’s real hunger for change.
