Temi Wilkey is an award-winning actor, writer, and performer from North London whose work celebrates joy, identity, and self-expression. A Cambridge graduate and National Youth Theatre alum, she made her playwriting debut with The High Table at the Bush Theatre, which earned her The Stage Debut Award for Best Writer in 2020.
Temi co-founded the pioneering drag king company Pecs, performing to sell-out audiences at Soho Theatre and Tate Britain, before moving into screenwriting with Netflix’s Sex Education-for which she received an NAACP nomination-and Disney+’s Wedding Season.
Her latest one-woman show, Main Character Energy, channels everything she’s learned into a celebration of empowerment and authenticity. Focused on creating work that’s “queer in content and in form,” Temi is developing new screen and stage projects and envisions launching an artist-development space where creatives can “demystify” the industry for one another.

Eliza is a photographer, activist, speaker and founder of Cheer Up Luv.
In 2017 Eliza founded Cheer Up Luv, an internationally recognised photo series, which retells accounts of street harassment. The project combines photography with journalism, activism and social media, and has gained interest from all over the world.
Since starting Cheer Up Luv, Eliza's work has branched into workshops, exhibitions, lectures and has led to working with global organisations, such as The United Nations, Apple and TEDx. The series has been featured by The BBC, The Guardian, i-D, Dazed to name a few, and in 2019 won the Webby for Best Individual Editorial Feature with 'Don't Look Away', a joint campaign with the UNFPA. -

Director, Writer + Founder of SHORTIES
Lois is an award-winning filmmaker and the founder of SHORTIES, a hyper-feminist platform dedicated to empowering emerging voices in film. Driven by the belief that there’s room for everyone and that women and underrepresented creatives don’t need to wait for handouts, Lois has built SHORTIES into a vibrant community where talent is nurtured, connections are forged, and future filmmakers are inspired to create their own buzz.
Alongside screenings in partnership with BFI Network to showcase funded films, Lois runs workshops and writers’ labs that equip new talent with tools, confidence and networks. Filmmakers regularly cite Lois’s generosity and guidance as transformative, with one alum describing SHORTIES as “a stimulating and inspiring environment” that empowered them to grow as an artist.
With her finger firmly on the pulse of new talent, Lois balances this grassroots work with a flourishing career as a director and writer. Her debut short EB & FLO won multiple Best Female Filmmaker awards, and she has since gone on to direct the acclaimed comedy Lacy’s World, the hit theatre show Life’s A Drag, and her 5-star debut play In the Shadow of Her Majesty. She was shortlisted for BBC Comedy Writersroom (2022) and selected for the Channel 4 Comedy Pilot Writers’ Scheme with NFTS.
At the heart of all her work—whether through SHORTIES or her own creative projects—is a commitment to building networks, sparking creativity, and ensuring that underrepresented voices in film and theatre not only have space, but shine.

Megan is an internationally renowned survivalist and TV producer with a reputation for guiding some of the biggest adventure series across remote and extreme locations. She has worked alongside Bear Grylls and fronted survival expeditions for networks including Discovery and Netflix. With a background in psychology and a deep respect for the natural world, Megan blends technical expertise with an ability to bring out resilience and creativity in others.

British-Moroccan Director represented by Curtis Brown and 42 Branded. She recently wrapped a rom-com for Channel 5/Paramount (airing November 2025), starring Anita Dobson and Nigel Havers, and her latest Comedy Central sketch will release later this year.
Her short film Solers United premiered at BFI Flare 2025, screens on Film4 this October, and is in development as a feature. Recognised by the FA, the film’s trailer was showcased ahead of the Women’s Euros, played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and featured on ITV News.
Sara’s earlier short F**KED won Best British Short at the Iris Prize 2023 and Best Short Film at Roze Filmdagen, later airing on Channel 4 and screening across BAFTA and BIFA festivals. It is now in early development with Wild Mercury as a TV series.
Her work has been spotlighted by Empire Magazine, Kiss FM, and the Outernet London, and she was awarded Best Director by the Sara Putt Agency Foundation in 2024. She is currently developing The Halal Chop with support from Uncertain Kingdom.

She co-founded DoesItFeelGood.com, a global social impact video company, creating films across five continents for organisations driving positive change. With a Master’s in Humanitarianism, Conflict, and Development, and as a familiar face on Polish TV charity broadcasts, Sonia blends storytelling with activism to entertain, challenge, and inspire.

Beginning her career in 2022 through a programme to diversify the film sector, Louise has since supported major festivals like Sheffield DocFest and Encounters. Now, she’s focused on empowering the next wave of filmmakers while continuing to bring bold visions to the screen.

London- and Norfolk-based Unit Stills Photographer with nearly 20 years’ experience. She has worked across features, shorts, and TV for BBC, Sky, Film4, Sister, Studio Soho, and the BFI, known for capturing emotionally charged, cinematic stills that elevate storytelling.
A proud neurodivergent advocate, Jessica founded The Stills Sisters Collective to support women and non-binary photographers and push for real change in access and representation. Her work blends creativity, grit, and advocacy—ensuring every frame tells a story that lasts beyond the screen

Founder of Elsie, the first global community for freelancers in female healthcare and sexual health. Today, Elsie connects over 140 members across 15 countries, spanning translators, copywriters, and researchers working in contraception, maternal health, and sexual wellbeing.
With a background as a content strategist for leading period care, fertility, and menopause brands, Emma brings advocacy and research to the heart of her work. She previously co-founded Back Off Scotland, the grassroots campaign that secured buffer zones around abortion clinics and influenced Scottish law.
Emma holds a Master’s from the University of Edinburgh, where her research explored how sex education shapes emotional wellbeing, and has trained over 1,400 students in domestic violence prevention and healthy relationships.

Bristol-based Composer and Cellist whose work spans award-winning documentaries, narrative drama, and opera. She has scored films including The Firefox Guardian, Seeking Sanctuary, G-Flat (dir. Peter Darney, starring Richard Wilson), Teth, No Swan In Sight, and Seed. In 2023 she completed her first opera, Orchard Street, supported by Arts Council England.
Alongside her creative work, Emma is an advocate for mothers in music. Following the birth of her son in 2020, she joined Mothers in Music and went on to publish The Unheard Symphony with the Ivors Academy Trust, a landmark report highlighting the barriers faced by composer mothers and calling for change across the industry.

Tia has directed work commissioned by BFI, Exeter Phoenix, and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, with additional scenes on the feature film Game (Invada Studios, 2025).

Holly is a Producer, Writer, and Director whose work spans film, television, theatre, and education. Passionate about collaboration and inclusivity, she thrives on creating ambitious, thought-provoking stories that challenge norms and spotlight underrepresented voices.
As a Writer/Director, Holly crafts bold, genre-blending narratives centred on female characters — using absurdity and wit to dissect contemporary issues. Her perspective is shaped by her experiences as a bisexual woman from a working-class background in the East Midlands, bringing authenticity and edge to every project.
Before stepping behind the camera, Holly spent three years in art departments on productions for the BBC, ITV, Kudos, Sky, and Warp — grounding her storytelling in the practical craft of filmmaking. With an MFA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, she’s since written award-nominated scripts (Slamdance, WeScreenplay, Filmmatic), and her latest film Fathom is currently on its festival run.

Shannon George, professionally known as Shantí, is a Jamaican-British film producer, theatre director, and creative entrepreneur based in Bristol. As founder and CEO of Brownstone Studios, she amplifies Black and Global Majority voices through film, theatre, and cultural events. Her work spans major institutions including the BFI, Arts Council England, and New Art Exchange, where she served as Cultural Film Producer. In 2024, she led Brownstone’s first sold-out magazine, spotlighting emerging UK filmmakers. With a background in Theatre Arts and Directing, Shantí blends storytelling and cultural curation to champion underrepresented narratives and redefine Black British and Caribbean representation across the arts.

Lou is an astrologer, creative and founder of Cosmic Kinship. She takes a modern approach to astrology helping people reconnect with who they are beneath the noise of life. Blending psychology, creativity and soulful insight, Lou offers readings and workshops that explore identity, relationships and belonging through the language of the cosmos. Her work speaks especially to women and caregivers juggling life and career, helping them reignite their inner spark and find balance between doing and being - while also guiding families toward deeper understanding and connection through their charts.

Sheherazade is a multi-disciplinary artist and filmmaker. She founded Blue Metaphor LTD an independent production company based in Bristol focussing on projects portraying social or cultural matters, making sure that misrepresented and under-represented communities feel heard and seen. Sheherazade has written and directed films sending a very clear message: important stories need to be told, bold stories need to be seen. She has always been an advocate for inclusion, fighting for more and better opportunities in the film industries for marginalized communities. She is also the curator of Blue Metaphor Presents, a series of themed events where all art fomrs meet under one roof, with filmmaking at the core. She wanted to create a safe space where filmmakers and other creatives could get inspired and feel free to talk anything film, share their process and network, without breaking the bank. Sheherazade has been involved in making the industry more inclusive and has been shortlisted for the Women in Business Awards 2025.

ADHDAF+ Charity Founder and ADHDAF Podcast Host, Laura Mears-Reynolds has dedicated the last three years of her life to raising crucial ADHD awareness and connecting and empowering ADHD adults, both globally online and now on a local level.
ADHD diagnosis and treatment not only changed, but actually saved Laura's life at 38 years old. When she discovered how many were suffering just as she had, and the terrifying statistics associated with unidentified and unmanaged ADHD, she made it her mission to use her voice to help others like her and to push for a society that works for people with ADHD, where they are accepted, respected and supported.
ADHD As Females Podcast has accumulated 1.7 million downloads from listeners in 204 countries and territories, with psychiatrists recommending it to their patients as far away as New Zealand. Using her own lived experience to eradicate the shame, break the stigma and highlight the danger for those gate-kept ADHD assessment and languishing on long waiting lists.
Beyond validation through relatable stories, Laura has shined a spotlight on womens health, perimenopause and the relationship between hormones and ADHD, with a seal of approval from ADHDAF Podcast guest Dr Nighat Arif and many more.
Through the connection and empowerment she witnessed in her global online community and at local live events, she was inspired to found a Charity,
ADHDAF+ aims to connect and empower ADHD adults of marginalised genders at whatever stage they are at in their ADHD discovery and diagnosis; at this time whilst the diagnosis crisis, medication shortages and media ADHD ableism rage on.
ADHDAF+ currently has five free monthly ADHD Peer Support Groups; Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Manchester and London; with many more about to start all over Scotland, England and Wales. -
Helena is a Documentary Producer and Integrative Arts Psychotherapist. She manages overall operations at Film In Mind, a collective of therapeutic practitioners with industry experience supporting TV/Film globally. Helena has worked on productions for the BBC, ITV, Channel4, National Geographic, Smithsonian, Discovery+, Amazon and Netflix. She is driven to improve experiences of filmmaking by applying and promoting therapeutic techniques and structures on both sides of the camera. In her therapeutic practice, Helena is in her fourth and final year of training in the NHS and third sector, running one-to-one and group therapy sessions. Her relational ability and interest in human stories and creativity have been honed by counselling qualifications as well as filmmaking.

Comfort Arthur is a British-born Ghanaian award-winning animator, illustrator and visual artist. She trained at the Royal College of Arts before moving to Ghana to set up The Comfy Studio. Her short film Black Barbie has been an international hit and has screened in more than 50 film festivals across the world and has won several awards. In 2020 she released her first children’s picture book under the same name.
She is the first Ghanaian animator to win the African Academy Movie awards for best animation for her web series I’m Living in Ghana Get Me Out of Here.
She has worked as the Festival Director for FUPiTOONS FESTiVAL, Africa's first film festival dedicated to short-form animation for kids. She also enjoys teaching animation and has worked with Ladima Film Academy to help facilitate animation workshops for women in Africa. In 2022 she collaborated with a non profit organization called Black Thrive. Working with young kids to explore the impact of mental health on their age group.
Comfort Arthur has also worked as the Episodic director for Cbeebies Animated preschool show JoJo and Gran Gran in the United Kingdom.

Vanessa is a Series Producer with a strong track record in Wildlife, Adventure and Live TV. She has developed and delivered award winning shows for the BBC Natural History Unit, Netflix, Disney and SKY, working closely with a broad range of commissioners and stakeholders. She also works with Exeter University as a communications impact fellow, bridging science, business and storytelling for a thriving planet. She is driven to share her curiosity in the natural world through brave and bold content that enables accessibility to the outdoor environment for all.

Cindy Kramer is the Founder and Creative Director of Finders Keepers Music, an independent music supervision and composition agency working at the intersection of music, film, and brands. Before launching Finders Keepers, Cindy spent over a decade at BMG, working across sync, licensing, and A&R. She worked with iconic artists including Nick Cave, Tears for Fears, and Labrinth, as well as a new generation of songwriters and producers, placing music in projects for major companies like BBC, Peloton, Netflix, and Marvel. Having worked in Germany, Sweden, the US, and the UK, she brings a truly international perspective to her work. At Finders Keepers, Cindy and her team combine deep industry experience with a rare dual skill set: licensing well-known commercial songs when a project calls for it, or creating original, artist-made music and sonic identities from scratch, ensuring every project’s sound feels authentic and story-driven.

Evie is an Executive Producer with Media Trust Films, currently overseeing a bold new slate of short films in partnership with UN Women and frontline charities tackling violence against women and girls. Directed by an exceptional line-up of female filmmakers, the series aims to spark both awareness and action through powerful storytelling that centres diverse voices.
Based in Bristol, Evie has worked across the TV documentary and campaign film sectors for over 20 years, spanning landmark natural history series to viral shorts. As a sole parent to two young daughters (6 and 2), she is passionate about exploring how women navigate creativity, care, and identity in an industry that often demands it all.
Alongside her production work, Evie is developing a feature documentary and book blending natural history tropes with intimate observational filmmaking — a satirical look at the absurd realities of modern motherhood.
Evie is deeply aligned with SISTALAND’s mission to champion women-led creativity and is exploring opportunities to showcase Media Trust’s UN Women film slate at the 2026 festival through screenings and conversations with filmmakers and frontline partners.

Hollie is a business-winning, TV development specialist having landed commissions at a wide range of companies including Boom/ITV Studios, Zinc Media, Firecracker, Keshet and STV. She is regularly asked to contribute as a guest lecturer for industry courses, speak on a range of panels and sit on the jury of highly sought-after awards. Before TV, she worked in events, sales and theatre - all experiences she is excited to bring to this new venture.

With over 20 years’ experience in the arts and business, Lotte is a Creative Strategist and Coach on a mission to empower artists to rebel against the status quo. Having spent 15 years as a theatre director, writer, and acting tutor at leading London drama schools, she now works with actors, filmmakers, multidisciplinary artists, producers, and founders to help them reframe their relationship with creativity, success, and funding so they can pursue what they love and have the business skills to create their own success. Her work centres on energetics - the idea that wellness and alignment are the most powerful tools for collaboration, opportunity, and creative longevity.

With over 15 years behind the camera, Sabrina began her creative journey in production before finding her voice as a stills photographer - moving fluidly between documentary and portraiture. It was through this lens that she became captivated by the power of light and shape to tell human stories.
Her documentary practice deepened her belief in empathy and agency as cornerstones of storytelling, shaping the trauma-informed, nurturing and empowering environments she now creates as an intimacy coordinator. Guided by the principles of intersectionality and inclusivity, Sabrina’s work centres the wellbeing, consent and dignity of everyone involved.
In 2022, she trained as a Recovery and Behavioural Coach, spending a year working with female and trans teenage survivors of sexual trauma in a central London treatment facility — an experience that profoundly informs her approach to bodies, boundaries and care on set.
As an intimacy professional, Sabrina integrates a practice grounded in mental health awareness, anti-racism, disability justice, and respect for gender and sexuality. Her expertise extends to supporting inclusive scenes of sex, BDSM, LGBTQ+, non-consent and emotionally complex content, where she brings intuition, compassion and collaboration to every production.

Cicely has produced the EPK for three seasons of Boarders (BBC), and more recently The Forsytes (PBS). She's currently producing her first short film, titled 'Why You Shouldn't Date In Bristol'.
