 Licensing 101

TALK

Music can make or break a project - but finding, licensing, and using it legally can feel like a minefield. In this workshop, Cindy from Finders Keepers Music will break down the essentials of music supervision and licensing, from choosing the right track to understanding rights, contracts, and costs. Perfect for filmmakers, producers, and creatives who want to feel confident bringing music into their work without the headaches.

About Cindy
Cindy Kramer is the Founder and Creative Director of Finders Keepers Music, an independent music supervision and composition agency working at the intersection of music, film, and brands. Before launching Finders Keepers, Cindy spent over a decade at BMG, working across sync, licensing, and A&R. She worked with iconic artists including Nick Cave, Tears for Fears, and Labrinth, as well as a new generation of songwriters and producers, placing music in projects for major companies like BBC, Peloton, Netflix, and Marvel. Having worked in Germany, Sweden, the US, and the UK, she brings a truly international perspective to her work. At Finders Keepers, Cindy and her team combine deep industry experience with a rare dual skill set: licensing well-known commercial songs when a project calls for it, or creating original, artist-made music and sonic identities from scratch, ensuring every project’s sound feels authentic and story-driven.
