The Mission

We’re building the first festival of its kind - designed by and for women and underrepresented filmmakers and creatives. Our mission is to flip the power dynamic, open doors that were never meant for us, and create a space where real opportunities thrive and transformative connections happen.

  • The SISTALAND Festival is a two-day event celebrating women, non-binary, and underrepresented creatives in the film and creative industries. Through inspiring talks, interactive workshops, panels, and networking opportunities, the festival aims to empower and uplift our creative community.

  • The festival will be held on Tuesday 11th November and Wednesday 12th November at Sparks in Bristol.

  • The festival is open to women, non-binary and trans creatives! Whether you’re a filmmaker, creative, artist, or someone passionate about supporting underrepresented voices in the industry, we welcome you to join us.

  • We’re looking for passionate volunteers to help make the festival a success! If you’re interested in getting involved, please reach out to us via our volunteer page. We’ll have opportunities in various areas such as event support, logistics, and attendee engagement.

  • Yes! There will be food and drink options available at the festival. We’re working with local vendors to ensure there are plenty of options for all dietary preferences.
