“SISTALAND has been a breath of fresh air - I've laughed with the SISTAs and cried with the SISTAs and felt so seen by all the beautiful humans that make up this community. I've learned so much from being part of SISTALAND; not just industry tips and tricks, but I've also met new freelancers and also signed up and completed a screenwriting course run by another member. Thank you for all the hard work you put into this - it's so appreciated by us all. Keep doing what you're doing; spread that SISTALAND love!”.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
If you believe the future looks different — and you want to help make it happen.
This is your festival.
-
This is for filmmakers, artists, and creatives who are ready to rip up the old rules.
-
Stand for something real!
-
Those who want to keep the industry exactly as it is.
Not for gatekeepers, box-tickers, or people still debating if diversity actually matters.
Not for anyone comfortable with the status quo.

SISTALAND 2025 vs SISTALAND 2026 –
What’s NEW
-
Yes! 2025 was our pilot.
It proved the appetite is real. The community is growing. Same heart. Bigger vision. -
A full 3-day immersive festival
New Somerset venue
On-site camping & glamping
Refined programming
More creativity
More intentional space for connection
-
Yes! SISTALAND is still for women and non-binary creatives in film, media and the arts. That won’t ever change.
-
SISTALAND is designed as a 3-day festival experience, and we would love to have you with us the full weekend.
A limited release of Sunday-only day tickets will be made available closer to summer.
-
No. Film is part of our DNA, but SISTALAND is for women and non-binary creatives across the arts and wider creative industries.
That includes artists, designers, writers, performers, producers, founders and anyone building something creative.
It’s about creative careers, and everything that shapes them: motherhood, sustainability, boundaries, money, collaboration and community.
If creativity is part of your identity, you belong here.
-
Tickets drop on 2 March 2026. With members access a day early on 1st March.
Early tiers are limited, once they’re gone, they’re gone. Make sure you’re on the mailing list for first access.
After that second release of tickets will drop 1st April.
“Speaking at SISTALAND FESTIVAL last week, really changed something for me. I took a journey through my work, my passion for women and my desire to see more black professionals reflected across theatre, film and media (including sports).
It was a safe space for women to talk about how they really feel in the industry and discrimination we face. Having support, real connection and strategy to make progress in representation and better working environments for women.
And with that being said 2026 will be sprinkled with a bit more audacity.”
— Shannon (Shantí) George, CEO and Founder of Brownstone Studios
“Last November I visited SISTALAND Festival, and it was such an inspiring experience! I got to meet filmmakers, actors, voice artists, special effects artists, and other creatives I don’t usually cross paths with. It was amazing to learn about their work and see the different ways creativity comes to life across industries.
Experiences like this remind me how exciting it is to explore new perspectives and bring inspiration from unexpected places into my own creative work. Can’t wait to see what I create next! “
